Craig Turner’s Self-Study Class

Complete DOCE reading and 49-minute webinar replay included

Craig Turner uses a synthetic financial-planning workbook to examine AI-assisted validation of household records, reconciliation of holdings and income, formula checks, projections, sensitivity testing and reviewable dashboards. Learn to verify identifiers, preserve sources, document unresolved items and retain professional judgment over financial-planning conclusions. The class also examines participant survey findings on AI risk, adoption and training.

Reading and video included

You receive both the complete DOCE (a document optimized for continuing education) and the 49-minute webinar replay, so you can read the material and watch the demonstration. For this self-study program, reading the complete DOCE is required; the replay and audio are supplementary. The replay runs 49 minutes, 10 seconds. Duplicate formats do not provide additional credit.

Learning objectives

After completing the class content, review exercises and assessment, participants will be able to:

  1. Apply AI to advisory data workflows while retaining professional judgment.
  2. Define outputs and validation criteria before beginning AI work.
  3. Protect client information and source files while documenting every change.
  4. Map advisory records with verified identifiers before correcting data.
  5. Classify findings and assign follow-up actions using plain-language prompts.
  6. Reconcile duplicate and missing records before relying on balances and calculations.
  7. Use formula checks and voice tools to accelerate quality assurance.
  8. Build dashboards, test projections and deliver a secure, reviewable planning handoff.
  9. Evaluate survey views on AI extinction risk and practical regulation.
  10. Interpret participant feedback to identify AI adoption and training needs.

  2. Read the full DOCE. Use the included replay/audio as supplementary resources.
  3. Complete three review exercises with explanatory feedback.
  4. Pass the scored assessment: ten questions selected from a 15-question bank, with a minimum score of 70% (seven correct). Up to three total attempts are available. After three unsuccessful attempts, review the material and contact A4A.
  5. Complete the required satisfaction survey.
  6. Claim a completion-only certificate after completing all requirements. CE/CPE credit is pending approval.
