This course explores key principles of portfolio design, diversification, risk management, and investment strategies to optimize long-term financial performance. By analyzing historical trends and asset correlations, participants will gain practical insights to construct diversified portfolios that align with client goals. The course will also address common misconceptions in investment strategies and the role of behavioral finance in portfolio decision-making.

Craig L. Israelsen, Ph.D., has been a regular contributor to Advisors4Advisors since April 2009. Prof. Israelsen has taught about family financial management at universities and is currently Executive-in-Residence in the Financial Planning Program at Utah Valley University.
