NASAA Approved Professional Responsibility IAR CE (Course ID C28421).

Last updated February 12, 2026

This on demand class for IARs and professionals shows how to use AI responsibly to accomplish common tasks.

Instructor Craig Turner has taught 2,000 organizations about AI since 2022. He teaches this course quarterly.

Among the valuable lessons in this 50-minute class, you are shown how to:

Shift from AI prompts to repeatable systems. Learn how advisors reduce recurring work through deliberate AI design.

04:30

Identify tasks AI should partially remove from workflows. Focus on reclaiming time without eliminating professional judgment.

05:00

Apply the task-process-system-leverage framework. Translate daily advisor work into scalable, repeatable operational systems.

05:30

Design AI tools to eliminate low-value administrative work. Free advisor capacity for client and prospect engagement.

06:00

Evaluate AI time savings using advisor ROI logic. Link reclaimed time directly to business growth opportunities.

05:00

Use AI for client communication preparation, not advice. Support meetings, explanations, and follow-up without recommendations.

05:30

Build ethical guardrails directly into AI instructions. Prevent compliance issues by embedding boundaries upfront.

05:00

Recognize AI as an information intermediary for clients. Prepare for client questions shaped by AI-generated responses.

05:00

Adopt clear, repeatable prompting over creative prompting. Treat AI like a machine rather than a creative collaborator.

04:30

Design advisor systems once and improve them over time. Shift from experimentation toward durable, reusable workflows.

04:00

To earn credit for on-demand classes, you must attend for at least 50 minutes and score a 70% grade or higher on a 10-question multiple choice assessment. IAR CE assessments by A4A are designed to be easy to pass if you pay attention to the class.

A live version of this same class is being conducted at 4 p.m. EST on Wednesday, March 18 2026.  Craig Turner answers advisor questions at the live class.  Live participation replaces testing.

The class is part of a plan for competingl 2026 NASAA IAR CE requirements in six months in 12 live classes. If you hate taking tests, a 12-live-class program is right for you.

A4A members can take the on demand version of the class now without the assessment and then participate in the live class on March 18 to earn credit without taking an exam.

Instructor

Craig Turner

Instructor, Artificial Intelligence

Craig Turner is a nationally recognized AI educator, speaker, and consultant who has trained over 900 organizations on integrating artificial intelligence into real-world business operations. As founder of Momentum and co-founder of Momentum AI, Craig specializes in helping chambers of commerce, small businesses, nonprofits, and financial professionals harness AI as a strategic tool — not a shortcut. His practical, engaging approach to teaching demystifies AI by focusing on usable data, ethical implementation, and scalable productivity enhancements. In addition to his consulting work, Craig serves as the interim executive for the Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce, giving him hands-on experience in operational leadership and economic development. A passionate advocate for responsible innovation, he routinely speaks to professional audiences across the country, showcasing live demonstrations and use cases in tools like ChatGPT, Canva, and custom-built GPTs. Craig’s career path into AI began unexpectedly. Craig was a newspaper reporter before he became a business owner and novelist. In 2021, Craig wrote a political thriller imagining an AI generated character running for public office. He soon realized he’d become an AI strategist himself. His commitment to staying ahead of the curve — and helping others do the same — is evident in his philosophy: AI is not about getting things off your plate; it’s about doing everything better. Craig actively shares insights on LinkedIn, encouraging professionals to connect, not just follow, and continue learning beyond the classroom.
