Big companies like Amazon are hosting apps for many smaller companies and these kinds of probelms are not suposed to be happening.   For advisors thinking that moving to the cloud with Web services from Amazon means no disruptions, think again.   This disrutpion was reportedly caused by a power outage. But other servers located elsehwre in the country should have taken over for the downed servers.
