Until you are ready to commit real money to a true CRM, Outlook is your best bet. It's not the best, but it is cheap, available and mostly stable.
User Review
The Good
The price is right, even with the extra $115 for Business Contact Manager (BCM). Good integration with the rest of Office.
The Bad
No workflow, BCM is not integrated with the rest of Outlook. It acts more like a 2nd independent program built into the mail outlook. For example, if you change the address of a contact in BCM, you need to change that address in the Account section, Business Contact section and main Outlook section.
The Bottom Line
No other program integrates email, contacts and your calendar until you get into true CRM like Redtail and Pro Tracker (which relies on Outlook for email anyway)
