A usual - Fritz delivers the "facts" without the typical Wall Street conceited biases and emotions that is so rare these days - that it is to be treasured.

excellent concise review of probably one of the most complex tax law changes in US history. Bob not only gives us the facts of the tax law changes - but gives us real value in helping with strategies to help mitigate some of the damage from the recent tax law changes.

Excellent + timely information relating to a tax world quickly becoming even more chaotic than normal! His thoughts on setting up DB plans before y/e 2012 was like mining gold!

Fair evaluation of rebalancing software - which I have used for 2+ years (TRXpert). I agree with his key comments that (1) it is a VERY cost effective to automate an otherwise time consuming process and (2) it creates a powerful compliance statement of how you more fairly + uniformly treat your clients as far as trading +/or maintaining their IPS asset allocation as an ongoing documented process. I now cannot imagine why an advisor would not use this type of software!

I am still a bit confused or maybe still not convinced that social media is the way I will find new clients or help maintain the relationships I have with my current clients. And the compliance complexity is an extra confusing burden that I am still trying to better understand. This webinar helped - but I realize I still have a heck of a lot to learn in this area.

As usual - Fritz gives advisors a wonderfuly POSITIVE + optimistic economic + investment story to share with our clients who are so inundated in the typical fear + gloom story perpetrated by the financial media - whose job is NOT to try + help there readers financially succeed - but sell more papers or newsletters or increase TV eyeballs.

As usual - Bob Keebler has added a better (detailed) understanding of a very complex tax topic that will (unfortunately) be a part of most of our clients' future financial reality. His ideas on how to help mitigate this surtax has already got me thinking in new directions to now appraoch with my clients. VERY GOOD STUFF!

Very interesting - especially coming from (me) a long-time DFA advisor. Intriging way to capture higher diversified yield with their MLP type ETF approach.

Another realistic + positive analysis of how the US economy is ACTUALLY doing versus what so many others just THINK it is doing. This reality gap is what gives Fritz's presentation great value to us as advisors to explain this reality gap to our clients in terms they hopefully can understand.

As a died in the wool (DFA) passive advisor - I find the webinar interesting but absolutely NOT compelling. I used to think - like most advisors still think that someone out there smart enough can "consistently" do what he says he thinks he can. I think the l/t evidence suggests otherwise. I think this will end up confusing some advisors (and their clients) again that there really are humans who can do this. This is crystal ball stuff - even under the guise of it based on rational and consistent preceps.

Frizt is excellent (as always) in presenting a positive long-term oriented economic analysis and snapshot of the world which I find pleasantly then easy to share with my clients I wonder though what it ever might take to turn Fritz a bit gloomier over the short to intermediate term (say 1 to 5 years)?

How Do Financial Advisors Compete In A World In Which Megatrends Can Make Your Head Explode? (Event)
|

interesting + thoughtful presentation - but do not know how useful it was from a practical standpoint. Megatrends (good + bad) are so big + long-tailed that when we are in the middle of all of them I find it pretty hard to divine a delta in their movements. I find the Fritz Meyers type of presentation more helpful and actionable for me in my work and with information to share with clients. Fritz is not short-term oriented - but then again - he is not so very very long-term oriented like today's speaker.
